What?
Quick Shot
Called Shot
Dual Shot
Needling Shot
Ignite Arrows
Troll Unguent
Whirling Defense
Rez of your choice

Marksmanship; 14
Wilderness Survival; 10
Expertise; 10

Recommended Bow; Zealous Shortbow of *your choice*

Strategy;
Ignite Arrows followed by Quick Shot, Called Shot, and Dual Shot. The enemy should then be down to around 1/2 health. If below 1/2 health, finish off with Needling Shot until dead. This will only be the case with a caster, obviously, and possibly an assassin. Don't expect to get a warrior down this quick.

This build is not perfect, or the greatest in any way, it is simply your average run-of-the-mill PvE build thought up by someone that can't speak English worth a crap.

There, I translated it.

Actually Needling Shot works well with a solo spiker. Dish out damage fast. By the time you used up your generic spike combo, your foe should be down to 1/2 health left, give take. That's when Needling comes in.

I tried Needling with Quick Shot before. Didn't like it... they both work too slowly together. Spike is quick, heavy damage for a 1-time off, which will be well received by Needling Shot. On the contrary, by the time you down his health to 49% with Quick Shot... do you have energy left to spam NS?

And I wouldn't use NS with casters... I prefer to do it on Warriors/Rangers. 31 damage degen is pretty alot to a warrior. But to a caster, even your normal attack can hit 50-70. Needling is under-achieving.

Wouldn't this be better with a Hornbow? Quickshot lacks any added damage... so the 10% sundering effect is there to make up for it.

^ Yup. Hornbow's negative is completely made up for by quickshot.

What about using Determined Shot? I had a go with this earlier on a scrimmage with a guildy (necro).

Quick Shot
Determined Shot
Called Shot
FW
Winno
Ignite Arrows
Troll Unguent
Res

15/12/9

I was looking for a 5 energy attack skill, Hunters Shot could've gone in there too. Determined Shot though, its only penalty was 'recharges your attack skills'. Considering Called Shot is 3 second and Quick Shot is 1 second... missing would make very little difference.

The idea behind quickshot is, I believe, is to use a sequence bowattack, quick shot, bowattack then switch to needling when the opponents health is < 50%

This can work, I think, I've tried something similar (penetrating, quick shot, sundering .... needling) on the armorsuits and that worked allright, until energy runs slowly out.

Works like a charm with Choking Gas but yeah, damagewise it's not the best.
